One convolution filter per channel. The tap ceiling follows the channel mode — 4.0: 8 192 per channel · 2.1: 8 192 for L/R and 16 384 for the sub (ch 2) · 2.0: 16 384 for ch 0/1.

Parametric EQ from biquads, up to 12 slots per channel — an LR4 costs two. Add bands by hand, or import an APO/REW text file.

Any input to any output, applied to the raw four channels before FIR and IIR correction. Click a cell to set its gain; each output can be phase-inverted on its own.

Blends a filtered copy of each channel into the other, the way a pair of speakers reaches both ears. Default: ch 0 ↔ ch 1, −6 dB feed, 700 Hz cutoff.

Meier is the classic headphone crossfeed. BS2B adds a direct-path boost, so the bass colours less. Biquad rolls the feed off more steeply for a tighter image. XTC cancels speaker crosstalk and widens the stage — give it a higher cutoff (~1500 Hz) and about 0.3 ms of delay. The ITD delay stands for the travel time from one speaker to the far ear, typically 0.1–0.4 ms.

Estimates the inter-aural delay from your speaker geometry.

Builds harmonics out of the bass so a speaker that cannot reach low still sounds like it does. Multiband harmonic generation per channel; Apply writes the settings to flash.

Applied last, after the crossover: delay the nearer driver by its acoustic head start so every driver arrives together. Range 0–50 ms, about 17 m of path difference. Apply writes to flash.

Gain before FIR and IIR processing — use it to keep a filter’s boost from clipping the input. Nothing to do with the output level.

How many channels the device offers the host. Changing this writes to flash and reboots, so the device re-enumerates with the new descriptor.

Saved straight to the Pico 2 flash. Audio halts briefly during a save, and storing a preset with a different USB channel count reboots the device.

Writes the whole chain — IIR, FIR coefficients, matrix, crossfeed, virtual bass, gains — to a JSON file, and reads it back onto the device. The FIR coefficients travel inside the file, so a large filter makes a large file.
